For 38 years, Mike Corry has served his clients as an Executive Benefit Consultant. A seasoned industry expert, he represents the interest of Non-Qualified Deferred Compensation Plan Sponsors in Congress and with the IRS. Mike served on the Board of the Association for Advanced Life Underwriting (AALU) in Washington D.C. from 2002-2010 and as the President in 2008-2009. He also led efforts to keep the favorable tax treatment of Non-Qualified Deferred Compensation Plans and Corporate Owned Life Insurance (COLI). Mike was very involved in the development and passage of legislation that clarified the rules for Non-Qualified Deferred Compensation Plans and COLI in 2004-2006. He also helped create a Task Force that is on guard and will quickly mobilize should Congress consider legislation that would alter the current tax treatment of Non-Qualified Deferred Compensation Plans and Corporate Owned Life Insurance.

Mike is a trusted industry expert; he has spoken at the national conferences of the International Forum, AALU, the Society of Financial Service Professionals and the Institute of International Research. Mike has also been published on executive benefits matters, including several articles for The Journal of Compensation and Benefits and The Journal of Taxation of Employee Benefits.
